TRAMETES VERSICOLOR – TURKEY TAIL EXTRACT

CORDYCEPS MILITARIS – CORDYCEPS EXTRACT (AKA ZOMBIE FUNGUS)
Cordyceps have a number of believed health benefits, in addition to having one of the coolest nicknames ever. Some of the massive health benefits, Cordyceps have been studied for include boosting stamina, appetite, immunity, libido, longevity, memory and sleep. The bioactives in Cordyceps exert potential antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-apoptotic activities, displaying beneficial effects in treatment and/or management of neurodegenerative disorders like Alzheimer’s Disease, multiple sclerosis (MS), neurotrauma, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), and Parkinson’s Disease. In 2024 there was a controlled clinical trial published that was conducted on healthy adults examining the effects of a Cordyceps militaris beverage, derived from the submerged fermentation of the fungus. The results led the researchers to the conclusion that it helped stimulate the human immune response without causing liver, kidney, or blood component toxicity. Though more research needs to be done, the medicinal possibilities make the Zombie Fungus another fungi Mushies will be keeping our eye on for potential future benefits yet to be discovered.

INONOTUS OBLIQUUS – CHAGA EXTRACT
Chaga Mushroom are often taken for belief that they boost the immune system and reduce inflammation and swelling. Chaga has been used in folk medicine for dealing with things like skin care, digestive health and for its immune boosting activities. Recent studies have looked into its use in an application against cancer. There was a study published in 2023 that talks about some of the compounds in Chaga being found to destroy cancer cells without harming healthy cells.
